PM Pashinyan presents Armenia's investment opportunities to Italian business

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who is in Italy on an official visit, had a working luncheon with the representatives of Italy's business and investment circles on November 21 in Milan.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, during the meeting the prospects for investment cooperation and joint projects were discussed. The PM presented the opportunities for doing business in Armenia, referring to the development dynamics of energy, tourism, IT and a number of other sectors. Nikol Pashinyan mentioned that the Government undertakes deep-rooted reforms in a number of spheres, including in the sphere of improving business environment, noting that good mechanisms for protecting investments have been created in Armenia and currently there are good opportunities for doing business in Armenia. The PM also referred to Armenia's membership to the EAEU, noting that it's a good opportunity for the Italian business to enter a market with 200 million population.

The PM also answered the questions of the Italian businessmen, which were about Armenia's relations with neighboring countries, the economic reforms in Armenia, Armenia-EU relations and so on.

The Italian businessmen welcomed the reforms in Armenia and said they are interested in doing business in Armenia.

The meeting was followed by Armenian-Italian business forum called ''Armenia, new reality. Platform to Eurasian market''.
