NSS arrests police chief of Alaverdi
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 19, ARMENPRESS. National Security Service (NSS) operatives have arrested Major Lernik Gigolyan, the Head of the Tumanyan (Alaverdi) Police Department in the Lori Province.
The NSS did not immediately comment on the reason of the arrest, noting that it will make a statement later.
Major Gigolyan was appointed to the position in 2018 by Police Chief Valeriy Osipyan.
