YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian signed a decree on awarding members of the Komitas Quartet for the great contribution to the development of music art, the President’s Office told Armenpress.

Artistic director of the Komitas Quartet, violinist Eduard Tadevosyan has been awarded with the 1st degree Order for the “Services to the Motherland”.

Violist Alexander Kosemyan has been awarded with the 1st degree Medal for the “Services to the Motherland”.

The second violinist of the Quartet Syuzi Yeritsyan has been awarded with the Medal of Movses Khorenatsi.

Director of the Quartet Samvel Mesropyan has been awarded with the Medal of Gratitude.
