YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Speaker of Parliament Ararat Mirzoyan has addressed media rumors which claim that Police Chief of Armenia Valery Osipyan tendered his resignation at the September 17 Security Council session.

Speaking to reporters in parliament, the Speaker – who also attended the session – said no such issue was even discussed at the Security Council meeting. “It is clearly defined what can be talked about at a Security Council session and there is a clearly defined agenda and discussions took place exclusively within the framework of this agenda. This topic wasn’t even touched upon,” Mirzoyan said.
