Armenia, Belgium to develop cooperation in education and scientific research – the sides sign memorandums of understanding

YEREVAN, MARCH 4, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is in Belgium on a working visit. The Prime Minister visited the educational and scientific centers of Leuven, the capital of Flemish Brabant province of the region of Flanders. At the end of the visit memorandums of understanding were signed on the development of bilateral partnership in the sphere of high and innovative technologies.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, in the presence of PM Pashinyan a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia and the Flanders Department of Foreign Affairs. The document was signed by the Ambassador of Armenia to Belgium Tatul Margaryan and Secretary General of Flemish Foreign Affairs Freddy Evans.

Another Memorandum of Understanding was signed between IMEC scientific research center and the Enterprise Incubator Foundation of Armenia. The document was signed by the Vice President of IMEC Ludo Deferm and Director of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation Bagrat Yengibaryan.

According to the memorandum, the sides will cooperate in area of exchange of experience in the field of high technologies and innovations, implementation of joint educational programs and organization of scientific-research works.
