YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. All state and interstate highways in Armenia are mainly passable by December 9, 20.00. 

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, Sotk-Karvachar highway and 12th km of Goris-Sisian highway are difficult to pass.

The Police have closed Sisian-Goris highway until clearance works are completed.

Black-ice is formed on Saravan-"Zanger", Vanadzor-Stepanavan-Alaverdi highways, Spitak and Tas turns and Vardenyats Pass.

Katnaghbyur-Urasar, Armanis Stepanavan, Goris-Sisian roads are endangered by blizzard.

According to the information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles in case of using tire chains, but the Lars checkpoint is closed for trucks (from Russian side).
