YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 10, ARMENPRESS. Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland has arrived for a series of meetings in Ankara on November 10, “Armenpress” reports citing the CoE official website.

He is scheduled to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoğlu, Minister for European Affairs Omer Çelik and representatives of opposition parties.

He will also have a meeting with President of the Turkish Constitutional Court.

Secretary General wishes to continue the dialogue with Turkish leaders on the current situation in the state of emergency following the failed coup attempt.
