PM tasks eliminating obstacles in subsoil business sector

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan says it is necessary to eliminate artificial obstacles for attracting investments in Armenia’s subsoil sector.

The Prime Minister tasked the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Ashot Manukyan to research international experience and present proposals on provisions of permits for subsoil management.

“What I mean is, businesses come, receive permits on subsoil usage, and then have multiple issues with land use. Our task is to regulate the field and stand by, support businesses”, the PM said.
