YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov commented on ex-leader of PAP Gagik Tsarukyan’s possible return to politics.

During a briefing in the Parliament, Sharmazanov was asked about the RPA’s opinion on the recent gathering of PAP supporters outside Tsarukyan’s residence, who were requesting his return to politics. Sharmazanov said “Our harsh stance was obviously linked with occurrences, and will remain that way. We had similar stances for all such occurrences. Our stance has never been aimed at any individual”.

Asked on his position on this issue, he replied: “As a representative of the leadership, I have quoted the ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus, who lived 2500 years ago : “Everything flows, everything changes”.

On October 24, a group of PAP supporters gathered outside Gagik Tsarukyan’s residence, demanding his return to politics.
