Arthur Petrosyan named head coach of National Football Team of Armenia

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. Legendary soccer player Arthur Petrosyan will head the Armenian National Football Team, the Football Federation reported.

The Armenian Football Federation completed discussions regarding the appointment of a head coach and starting November 1 a contract will be signed with Arthur Petrosyan to be the head coach of the national team. Petrosyan is a former footballer of the team and is currently the head coach of the Swiss “Zurich-2” team.

Varuzhan Sukiasyan resigned as head coach following unsuccessful matches for 2018 World qualifiers.
