YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS. “AYB” high school robotics group students, who can bring their projects into life in the first workshop-laboratory “Fab lab” in the region, have already created robots able to solve different problems, which were demonstrated outside “AYB” school. Student of “AYB” school Ashot Margaryan introduced a robot to the journalists, the main function of which is to pass through a labyrinth, find the source of fire and extinguish it. “The labyrinth is the model of a house, and finding the source of the fire, the robot must extinguish it and return to its starting point”, “Armenpress” reports, the boy said, adding that it is possible to create a bigger robot that can be used by fire brigades without risking human lives. “AT present, I am working over a drone. We invent our algorithm for drones which are quite new algorithms”, Ashot Margaryan said.

Nane Arshakyan designed a line follower robot, which, according to her, can be used in military operations as a mine detector.
