"Apricot Tree" international festival of ethnographic films brought 10 directors to Yerevan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS. "Apricot Tree" first international festival  of ethnographic films was launched in Yerevan, which will tak place from October 3-6. As “Armenpress” reports, Armenian young directors, as well as directors from abroad, from Iran, Lebanon, Poland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Russia, Germany, France and USA will participate in the festival.

Secretary of the "Apricot Tree" international festival of ethnographic films Garegin Zakyan mentioned that one of the peculiarities of an art is that not of the entire earlier made movies are taken into consideration that is why works created in various years will be introduced in the festival, which is combined by ethnological topics. “Most people connect ethnology with the past, but it is has an ongoing nature for me, it is a link between the past and the future”, told Levon Der-Bedrosyan, the fund director.
