YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. On September 3, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Director of the Border Guard Department of the Russian Federal Security Service Nikolay Kozik and the head of the Border Department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia, Anatoliy Mikheev.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia, Nikolay Kozik introduced the newly appointed head of the Border Department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia, Anatoliy Mikheev and his background to the President of Armenia at the beginning of the meeting.

Serzh Sargsyan congratulated Major General Mikheev on the appointment, wished success and assured that the Armenian authorities are ready to assist him in case of necessity during his entire tenure. Emphasizing that the military alliance between Armenia and Russia practically includes all the sectors of bilateral cooperation, the President of the Republic attached great importance to the close partnership between the border units of both countries.
