Erdoğan calls Turkish parliament to deprive Kurdish deputies of mandates

Armenpress 16:38, 28 July, 2015

YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. The President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the ruling “Justice and Development” party (JDP) cannot continue peaceful negotiations with the Kurdish fundamentalists (editor refers to the Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK) headed by Abdullah Öcalan).

As “Armenpress” reports, “Reuters” news agency informs about this.

Excluding the possibility to negotiate with Kurds, Erdoğan said, “We cannot continue peace negotiations with those who threat our national unity and brotherhood”.

Erdoğan called the Turkish parliament to deprive those Kurdish deputies who, according to him, are linked to the terrorist organization (PKK), of diplomatic immunity and mandates.

Erdoğan uses any opportunity to declare that the Peoples' Democratic Party is linked to the PKK, which has been recognized as a terrorist organization by Turkey.
