YEREVAN, JULY 1, ARMENPRESS. On July 1, President Serzh Sargsyan met with Vardges and Mary Najaryans, American philanthropists of Armenian descent, their son Ara Najaryan, the mayor of Glendale, and Palmira and Christopher Najaryans, the wife and the son of Ara Najaryan. Vardges and Mary Najaryans were awarded the Order of Services to the Motherland (2nd class) by President Serzh Sargsyan for their efforts in strengthening the relations between Armenian and its Diaspora, as well as for their longstanding support for charitable and humanitarian projects, sources from the Press and Public Relations Office at the Presidential Administration told Armenpress.
