Czech FM considers humanity’s duty to remember about Armenian Genocide

YEREVAN, JUNE 25, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek visited Tsitsernakaberd Memorial and paid tribute to the innocent victims of the Armenian Genocide. The Czech FM was accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Karen Nazaryan.  
Accompanied by the Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Hayk Demoyan, Lubomír Zaorálek toured in the Museum and made a note in the Book of the Honorary Guests, after which he laid a wreath at the Eternal Fire. Armenpress reports that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic planted a tree in the Memorial’s park “in memory of the tragic death of the sons and daughters of the Armenian nation”.
After visiting the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Lubomír Zaorálek shared his impressions with the journalists:“I am very much impressed, as it is quite a horrible story. It is very important not to forget about it. It is not only the past, the history, but it refers to the present as well. We should speak about it. We should remember that event and the tragedy. Our duty is to remember it always”.
