Armenia’s PM takes part in session of CIS Council of Heads of Governments

YEREVAN, MAY 29, ARMENPRESS: The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, being in the Republic of Kazakhstan with a working visit from May 28, took part in the next session of the CIS Council of Heads of Governments. The press service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that first the session of the CIS Council of Heads of Governments in the narrow format took place and then the session of the CIS Council of Heads of Governments in the extended format was held.
The prime ministers of the CIS countries discussed a wide range of issues related to the integration cooperation in the CIS framework. The participants of the session discussed and approved the joint action plan in financial and economic sector, approved the transportation security strategy on the territory of the member countries, as well as discussed issues related to the interregional and cross-border cooperation by 2020.
