YEREVAN, 21 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. During the November 18-21 visit to Italy, the delegation led by Armenia’s Minister of Agriculture participated in the Second International Conference on Nutrition organized by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the United Nations World Health Organization.

On November 21, Minister Karapetyan was received by Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization José Graziano da Silva. Armenia’s Ambassador to Italy Sargis Ghazaryan was also attending the meeting.

The Director-General welcomed the progress that Armenia has made in the agriculture sector and expressed his support to the strategy on joining small rural economies together through cooperation.
