Aznavour promises to accompany Erdogan to Armenian Genocide Memorial
YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS: The French Armenian chansonier, the Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland Charles Aznavour expressed his discontent concerning the fact that Turkey continues denying the Armenian Genocide, committed by the Ottoman Empire in 1915. Armenpress reports that Aznavour stated about it in the interview given to the RTS TV Company.
Stating that Erdogan has been invited to Armenia ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on September 24 2015, Aznavour reminded that the President of Turkey has not yet responded to the invitation. “He has not responded yet. But if he comes, I will accompany him”, - said the chansonier.
