Armenians from Kiev donate blood to Ukrainians affected by military actions
YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. More than 50 representatives of the Armenian community in Kiev, on their personal initiative donated blood to the Ukrainians, who had been injured as a result of the ongoing military operations. The Ukrainian Armenians donated blood in the Ukrainian Defense Ministry hospital. As reports "Armenpress", referring to "Liberty" Ukrainian service, the representative of the Armenian community of Kiev Artur Martirosyan told journalists that they feel sorry for the events taking place in the country and would like to support this way their Ukrainian brothers injured as a result of the ongoing military operations.
This is not the only initiative which the Ukrainian Armenians have taken to support their compatriots living in the south of the country. The Union of Armenians in Ukraine has announced that it plans to deliver humanitarian assistance to the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
