YEREVAN, AUGUST 20, ARMENPRESS. The Union of Armenians of Ukraine is developing plans to provide humanitarian assistance to the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk. For this purpose, the Chairman of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine Vilen Shatvoryan met with the President of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society Ivan Usichenko in Kiev. As reports “Armenpress”, in reference to Analitikaua.net, during the meeting the sides discussed a number of program and work issues, through which it will be possible to deliver the humanitarian aid to the country's east. Vilen Shatvoryan informed that previously the Ukrainian Union of Armenians also provided support, but for the implementation of more large-scale projects they needed cooperation with the ICRC, as well as their support in some cases.
