PRESIDENT KOCHARIAN RECEIVES IRANIAN DEFENSE MINISTER

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS:President Robert Kocharian received today the visiting defense minister of Iran, Mohammad Najjar and members of his entourage. Kocharian’s press office said the Iranian minister conveyed warm greetings of president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to his Armenian counterpart. Kocharian’s press office said both sides underscored the high-level Iranian- Armenian ties and highlighted also a set of agreements reached lately by both presidents which are designed to further boost diverse Iranian- Armenian relationships. The president and the Iranian minister also spoke about prospects for starting military and defense cooperation.
