Azerbaijani servicemen open fire at civilians doing agricultural work in Artsakh

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS.  A 36-year-old resident of Sarushen village of Askeran region went to the Karmir Shuka Department of the Martuni Regional Police Department on November 16 at 14:30 to report that while carrying out works in the agricultural lands belonging to the Sarushen community of Askeran region at around 11:40 a.m. in the Amaras Valley, the Azerbaijani army fired irregularly at the citizens working in the field from various firearms from the adjacent military position.

The Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Artsakh informed ARMENPRESS that works have been stopped due to the violation of the ceasefire regime.

There are no casualties among civilians.

The Police informed about the incident and provided relevant materials to the Russian peacekeeping troops," said the Police of Artsakh Ministry of Internal Affairs, adding that the Martuni regional department of the police is engaged in the investigation.
