YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met in Geneva with State Secretary of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland Livia Leu, the ministry said.

Ararat Mirzoyan introduced his counterpart on the current situation resulting from the latest large-scale aggression of Azerbaijan against Armenia’s sovereign territory, clearly emphasizing that the policy adopted by Azerbaijan aimed at achieving its maximalist aspirations with the use of force or threat of force was unacceptable.

The sides discussed also a number of issues of the bilateral and multilateral agenda between Armenia and Switzerland. FM Mirzoyan said that the Armenian side is interested in the Swiss experience of return of assets of illicit origin.

Ararat Mirzoyan and Livia Leu exchanged views also on regional developments. The Armenian FM thanked for hosting the meeting held yesterday with the Azerbaijani foreign minister in Geneva and briefed Livia Leu on the discussions held during that meeting.
