YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS. The Wrestling Federation of Armenia is issuing a note of protest over biased referee decisions against Armenian wrestlers at the world championship in Serbia.

Armenia’s Tevanyan was competing against USA’s J. Diakomihalis when the Armenian athlete was robbed of victory due to biased referee decision.

“After Arman Andreasyan was robbed of his medal, now it is Vazgen Tevanyan’s turn. The Korean referee not only robbed Vazgen Tevanyan of his victory, but also his qualification for the finals. The American athlete was presented the victory,” the federation said.
