YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. The ‘Interaction-2020’ and the ‘Poisk-2020’ (‘Search-2020’) military exercises of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) planned in Armenia for late October have been postponed and the new timeframe and location are being agreed upon, the security bloc’s spokesperson Vladimir Zaynetdinov told ARMENPRESS.

He said the events were postponed due to the coronavirus situation in Armenia.

“The issue of the location and timeframes of holding these exercises is being discussed with CSTO member states,” CSTO spokesperson Vladimir Zaynetdinov said.

In addition, Armenia will not participate to another CSTO exercise – ‘Unbreakable Brotherhood-2020’ from October 12 to 16 in Belarus.

The Armenian Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan told ARMENPRESS that Armenia won’t take part in the Unbreakable Brotherhood-2020 exercises due to the situation at the Artsakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.
