YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS. Members of Congress of Guatemala condemn the military operations launched by Azerbaijan against Armenia since July 12.

Manuel CondeOrellana, secretary general of the National Advancement Party, made a post on Twitter: “Majority of the MPs of the Guatemalan Congress condemn the military operations launched by Azerbaijan against Armenia on July 12, urge to immediately end the offensive and threatening operations and call for achieving peace through dialogue”.

The Azerbaijani armed forces launched an attack on an Armenian military base located in Tavush province on July 12, using artillery, mortars and UAVs. In addition, the Azerbaijani side also shelled the town of Chinari in the province with mortars, damaging civilian homes. On July 14 the Azerbaijani armed forces continued targeting the civilian infrastructures of the Armenian town of Berd, using an attacking drone.
