YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. The European Union has granted a visa-free regime to 50 million citizens of Ukraine and Georgia, Independent reports.
In particular, the visa-free regime is granted to 45 million Ukrainians and 5 million Georgians.
The EU officials said the deal ends the internal EU dispute.
The late night talks of the EU member states and the European Parliament led to a compromise on terms of mechanism which can suspend the visa-free schemes in emergency situations.
