YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. US President-elect Donald Trump and former US State Secretary Henry Kissinger discussed the relations between the US and Russia, as well as with other countries, the presidential transition team said in a statement, reports TASS.

They held talks in New York. “They discussed China, Russia, Iran and the EU, as well as other issues and events around the world”, the statement said.

“I express a tremendous respect towards Kissinger and I appreciate him for sharing his thoughts with me”, Trump said.

According to the media, during the pre-election campaign Trump was holding meetings with Kissinger and was consulting with him on foreign policy issues.
