YEREVAN, OCTOBER 10, ARMENPRESS. On October 10 a consultation on providing assistance to Syrian-Armenians was held in the Government of Armenia led by Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan and with participation of heads of state authorities concerned on that issue, press service of the Government told “Armenpress”.

Issues related to distribution of the humanitarian aid sent to Syria under the Armenian President’s instruction were reported. Educational, healthcare, social state projects aimed at assisting Syrian-Armenians in Armenia in recent 5 years, as well as the opportunities for supporting the integration and business projects were presented.

PM Karapetyan instructed the relevant state authorities to continue the coordinated works on that path in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora Ministry.
