YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. There is no political tendency in the death of Gyumri Mayor candidate Vardevan Grigoryan’s son, Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan said.

“Very active measures were taken and at this moment the collected sufficient data enable to talk about suicide. The measures taken, as well as the investigations allow to draw a conclusion that this incident has nothing to do with the political processes taking place in Gyumri”, he said, Armenpress reported.

Vardevan Grigoryan’s son Arshak Grigoryan’s body has been found in the basement of their house with a gunshot wound in head. Criminal case has been filed under article “incitement to suicide”.
