Armenia received 15 billion AMD from EAEU budget January-April

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS. First deputy head of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia Armen Alaverdyan says Armenia received 15 billion 438 AMD from the total budget of the Eurasian Economic Union during 4 months of this year.

“Last year we received 53 billion AMD from the overall budget of the Eurasian Economic Union. This year also our share from the EAEU overall fund will remain nearly the same”, “Armenpress” reports, Alaverdyan said during the briefing.

To the view that more money was expected to be received from the EAEU total budget, Alaverdyan said it is connected with the significant reduction of imports in Russia and other EAEU member states. “The imports in these states play a significant role, and now, they are decreasing, less money goes to the overall fund which in its turn leads to the reduction of our incomes received from the EAEU budget”, he stated.

Alaverdyan said the predictions over the upcoming EAEU benefits were made based on the 2014 economic indicators, however, Russia’s economic growth has significantly changed in 2015 which had an impact on the expectations from the EAEU overall budget.
