YEREVAN, MAY 26, ARMENPRESS. The Defense Ministry of Armenia informs that overnight May 25-26 the situation was relatively calm in the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.

The Azerbaijani side fired sporadic irregular shots from various caliber weapons in the northeastern direction of the border.

The Armenian Armed forces control the border situation and confidently fulfill their tasks.

According to the information received by the NKR Defense Army overnight May 25-26 the Azerbaijani side restarted to violate the ceasefire agreement by firing various caliber weapons, sniper rifles and AOP-17 grenade launcher in the line of contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces.

The Defense Army forces refrained from taking counter measures and continued confidently carrying out their military duties”.
