YEREVAN, APRIL 12, ARMENPRESS. The President of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the National Security Council Serzh Sargsyan convened the National Security Council session tonight. They have discussed issues related to the gross violation of the 1994 ceasefire agreement by the Azerbaijan Republic, the large scale attacks against the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and the use of force against the civilian population and the actions that should be taken for this situation. As “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Presidential Administration, Security Council members issued reports. It has been recorded that the Armenian Armed Forces carried out their tasks during the military operations unleashed by Azerbaijan. The Defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh Republic acted victoriously preventing the Azerbaijani aggression and thwarted its plans.      

The President Serzh Sargsyan gave relevant instruction on the issues discussed.
