Armenian Youth Orchestra invited to perform at Shanghai Spring Festival
09:27, 12 April 2016YEREVAN, APRIL 12, ARMENPRESS. The State Youth Orchestra of Armenia has received an invitation to take part at the international “Shanghai Spring” Music Festival. This was informed in an interview with “Armenpress” by director and conductor of the Orchestra Sergey Smbatyan.
“We received an invitation to participate at the Shanghai Spring international music festival in May, which is the most prestigious festival in Asia. Jose Cura will lead the Orchestra. He is a world famous singer and conductor”, Sergey Smbatyan said.
The Festival will take place in China. It was founded in 1959.
Jose Cura is a famous Opera singer. The Argentine born singer is also a conductor.
