YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Russian Federation conducts transparent military-technical cooperation with Armenia, in compliance with all international obligations. As Armenpress reports citing RIA Novosti, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said about the aforesaid, commenting on Baku’s note of complaint for the supply of ammunition to Armenia.

"We have already submitted the relevant information to the Azerbaijani side, through diplomatic channels. Russia is linked with Armenia by allied relations and develops also military-technical cooperation with it. We hope that Azerbaijan will react to it with understanding. It is a well known fact that we carry out this cooperation transparent; without hiding it. We carry out any supply of ammunition to both Armenia and friendly Azerbaijan with the careful consideration of the need to preserve the balance of power in the region. "- she said.

According to her, Russia has always respected its international obligations in the issue of supplying ammunition and acts within strict national export control system.
