YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. On February 11 the President of Armenian National Assembly (NA) Galust Sahakyan arrived in Artsakh. During the visit, the Armenian NA President is accompanied by the Heads of the Standing Committees Artak Zakaryan and Artak Davtyan, parliamentarian Tevan Poghosyan, heads of departments.

The guests were met at the outskirts of Shushi by the Speaker of the NKR National Assembly Ashot Ghoulyan.

At the beginning of the working visit, Armenian NA President and the delegation, accompanied by the Deputy Head of Artsakh Parliament Vahram Balayan, visited the Stepanakert Memorial Complex where the wreath-laying ceremony took place. The guests also laid flowers on the tombs of freedom fighters perished in the Artsakh war.

In the afternoon, meeting of the Armenian National Assembly’s President with the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic legislative and higher authorities is expected.
