YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Office of Financial System Mediator presented 3829 complaints 3263 of which referred to the financial system, Financial System Mediator Piruz Sargsyan informed during the meeting with journalists as “Armenpress” reports.

“1448 claims have been examined in 2015 which is an increase of 13.5% as compared with 2014. High level of 78.64 % was registered during handling of cases in 2015. 218 out of 1448 cases are still under investigation,” Sargsyan said.

This year, the number of claims made by the services against banks amounted to 1448 complaints, insurance companies - 1091, insurers’ bureau - 15, credit organizations – 14, organizations conducting monetary compensations – 1.

Mediator mentioned that Office of Financial System Mediator is a member of International Network of Financial Ombudsmen. Services in Mediator’s Office are provided completely free of charge.
