CIS observers are satisfied with election process

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. CIS observers are satisfied with the election process. A group of 10 observers visited 9/11 polling station located in Yerevan Spandaryan School No.24. “Armenpress” reports that CIS observer from Belarus told journalists that they had visited 4 polling stations as of 11:30.

“The weather is favorable, the citizens are in high spirits. We registered that the elections in the polling stations proceed within the law. The citizens calmly perform their civic duty. We have not registered any problem during the process; precinct election commission members give precise, clear answers to all our questions providing information. We are of the opinion that the public will make the right choice,” said the observer.

The observers’ group intends to visit more than 10 polling stations. 

1989 polling stations of the Constitutional Reforms referendum opened in Armenia as of 08:00, December 6. 8 of the polling stations have been formed in penitentiaries. Overall number of voters included in the Republic of Armenia referendum voters’ register is 2 million 550 thousand 323 as of December 5. 18 local and 6 international organizations will carry out observation missions including 3006 local and 123 international observers.
