BELGRADE, DECEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. Announcement of OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries’ foreign ministers on NKR conflict resolution is exceptionally directed to Azerbaijan. This view belongs to Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian. In response to ”Armenpress” reporter's question, Nalbandian said that the statement calls on several times to the sides to reaffirm commitment only by peaceful way, to resolve the conflict by negotiations.

Foreign Minister reminded that not only foreign ministers but also the heads of OSCE Co-Chairing counties made such announcement for numerous times and Armenia reaffirmed its position on that occasion. “We never heard about Azerbaijan’s position, what they think on this occasion. This call once again is directed to Azerbaijan. It is clear who the call referred to, as who is making a force? And who threatens by war? Armenia? Never. The opposite side fulfills this all,” Nalbandian said, adding that Co-Chairs also called the sides on reaffirming their agreement over creation an investigation mechanism on border incidents. Before this statement, Armenia reaffirmed its commitment over creation of an investigative mechanism during the meeting in New York, but Azerbaijan refused to do so.

“Co-chairs strictly condemn the use of heavy artillery. But who is using heavy artillery? Azerbaijani side used heavy artillery recently. Thus, Azerbaijan’s usage of heavy artillery is condemned. And finally, Co-Chairs strongly condemn the sharp criticism directed to Co-Chair’s address. Has Armenia ever condemned? I mentioned in my speech that Armenia never condemned the Co-Chairs,” Nalbandian said, adding that the question is to what extent Azerbaijan will listen to the mentioned emphasis and to what extent it will adequately comprehend, what the international community says.
