YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS.  NKR National Assembly Deputies have issued a statement in connection with the "Telethon-2015".  As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of Arsakh Republic National Assembly, the deputies urged the world-spread Armenians to participate in all-Armenian fund raising. According to the statement, supporting the needy segments of the people will empower the nation fostering the implementation of new pan-Armenian projects.

The final stage of the annual telethon of the All-Armenian Fund "Hayastan" is about to start in a few hours. Another nationwide fundraising is dedicated to housing and is held under the motto of "Our House". The main purpose of "Telethon-2015" is providing large families of Artsakh with five or more children apartments.

The assistance program for large families is not only of social but also of political importance for Artsakh. The solution of housing problems for these families will greatly facilitate and improve the country demography. Only in this way we can perform common will of our people - to equip Artsakh and defend the national liberation.

In the past few days, in spite of the unstable situation in the international arena, numerous activities on national fundraising were organized in different cities of the world.

The current political realities once again have highlighted the priority of the security issues which in our case are perceived as a need to combine the efforts of all Armenians.

The telethon is one of the best opportunities for the practical manifestation of the Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora relations, and it should be the further evidence of the determination in comprehensively strengthening of the independence of Artsakh.

We strongly believe that our consolidation is the right answer to the growing day after day challenges. Therefore, we encourage and ask everyone to take part in the pan-Armenian fundraising thus contributing to those layers of our population, improving the welfare of who will strengthen our nation in the implementation of the new national programs”, reads the statement.
