YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization convened an extraordinary session and condemned the destruction of the Russian jet in Syria by Turkish air forces. “Armenpress” reports, citing TASS, the CSTO characterized the incident as a violation of international law.

“It was stated during the session that the incident was a gross violation of international law with all its consequences. It is also a violation of the memorandum on safe flights and preventing incidents in Syria, ratified in the USA and applies to all countries, including Turkey”, reads the statement of the CSTO.
