Serbia and Armenia signed a memorandum on military cooperation

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenian and Serbian Defense Ministers Seyran Ohanyan and   Bratislav Gasic signed a memorandum on military cooperation which will serve as a basis for more active cooperation between the 2 countries in military sector since 2016.

As “Armenpress” reports, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan after the memorandum’s signing and during the briefing said that the collaboration will be fulfilled by several directions: military history, military education, medicine and peacekeeping. “We can pick up other sectors during our cooperation as well and develop our relations,” Ohanyan said, adding that they also discussed issues related to international regional developments, security environment, and to the fight against international terrorism.

“We had a very significant discussion, shared thoughts over modern issues and talked about the future collaboration,” Gasic told, adding that he is the first Serbian Minister who visits Armenia.
