YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Foreign investors, implementing production activities in Armenia, obtain an ability to benefit from the Eurasian Economic Union and the European Union's major markets with authorized conditions. Armenia is the only country in the region which succeeded to provide availability to EAEU market by zero taxes and without customs clearance. Meanwhile, from the largest western economies Armenia is actively developing trade and economic relations with USA successfully increasing exports to Middle East countries.

First Deputy Minister of Economy Garegin Melkonyan expressed such view in the interview with “Armenpress” in this context giving importance to this week's high level Armenian-American meetings, particularly to the Armenian-American Trade and Investment Council's first session.

“This council is an innovation for us both in terms of Armenian-American relations and in terms of other similar structures. Armenia did not have bilateral format on trade and investments with USA before,” Melkonyan mentioned.

As to the creation of equal and attractive conditions for foreign investors in Armenia, Melkonyan assured that each foreign potential investor use at least the same conditions as the Armenian citizens or resident companies registered here.
