EU authorizes mandate over launching negotiations with Armenia

The 28 EU member states authorized the mandate over launching negotiations on Armenia-EU new legal base in Luxembourg. “Armenpress” reports that the Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Balayan informed about this on his Facebook page.
During the Riga summit of Eastern Partnership, on May 22, 2015, the European Union and Eastern Partnership countries issued a joint statement which hails the agreement of signing a new treaty between Armenia and EU which aims to continue and strengthen the development of comprehensive cooperation in all the spheres of mutual interest.
