YEREVAN, OCTOBER 7, ARMENPRESS. President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received on October 7 Sergey Kiriyenko, head of Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation.

As “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the Office to the President of the Republic of Armenia, President Sargsyan highlighted the importance of energy sector on Armenian-Russian bilateral agenda of allied partnership noting that for that purpose the issue of implementing joint projects in energy sector was thoroughly discussed during the meeting with the Russian President last month.

The level of cooperation was bilaterally valued during the meeting.

Head of Rosatom state nuclear energy corporation Sergey Kiriyenko presented Serzh Sargsyan with the results of the studies carried out by the Russian party referring the second energy unit of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant. Kiriyenko also touched upon further activities of cooperation according to the work schedule.
