GAVAR, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. On October 5, big hail damaged the harvest of pear, apple and cabbage during the night.

As Vardenik village head Hovik Hoveyan informed “Armenpress”, the hail fell in during the night at 3-4 o’clock and uncounted fruit and cabbage harvest were basically damaged in the result. “Not mellowed pear and apple harvest were broken and dropped from trees by the hail. The hail also cracked and disqualified the mellow cabbage heads. Our established committee is working in the households to clarify the quantity of the damage by the hail. During several days it will be clarified how many hectares of harvest was damaged”, said the community leader.
