YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia Judith Farnworth handed over copies of her credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on October 5. As “Armenpress” was informed by the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Nalbandian greeted the guest congratulating her on the appointment and wishing success in her mission expressing hope that the Ambassador will contribute to the expansion of cooperation and strengthening of bilateral relations.

Ambassador Farnworth thanked for the good wishes and assured that she would do her best to deepen British-Armenian relations.

Minister Nalbandian and Ambassador Farnworth touched upon the issue of cooperation between the EU and Armenia and the activities aimed at creating new legal basis for that cooperation.

The interlocutors exchanged ideas on a number of international and regional issues and the efforts made to reach their settlement.
