YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Despite the topical issue of suppressing and counterattacking the adversary’s aggressive attacks on the borders of Armenia, the country readily and  consistently develops its peacekeeping capabilities, the volume of geography and participation in multinational operations in this sphere in behalf of regional and international peace and stability. Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohnayan made such an announcement during the opening of “International Forum for the Challenges of Peace Operations” conference.

“We presented in a comprehensive way all the operations related to peace that are necessary from the initial stage of challenges and conflicts till complete reinforcement of peace. The Armenian peacekeeping brigade is exemplary and can serve as foundation for educational material base within the CSTO. Not at second hand do we know the value of peace and what price should be paid for that,” noted Seyran Ohanyan.
