YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 30, ARMENPRESS. Russian battle-planes, which are based in the Syrian city Latakia, conducted the first airstrikes towards the positions of the militants fighting against government troops. As “Armenpress” informs, CNN TV channel announced about that on September 30, citing US senior officials. They announced that the Russian leadership did not inform the USA what targets they plan to strike.

During several days Russian drones counted information about the territory.

Siemani Times Kurdish news channel confirmed this information. According to it, Russian Su-24 attack aircrafts conducted airstrikes towards the positions of the militants after noon of September 30 in the territory of Hama city located 213 km north from Damascus.

Whereas, according to the CNN interviewers, the airstrikes were conducted in the territory of the city of Homs, reported “Interfax”.
